Frick archive trial begins Thursday
Pittsburgh Business Times
The trial to determine the fate of Helen Clay Frick's archives, which chronicle generations of industrial, social and philanthropic history of Pittsburgh industrialist Henry Clay Frick and his descendants, begins Thursday in Allegheny County Orphans Court.
The petitioners in the case, Arabella Dane and Edward Weidlein, want to stop the Helen Clay Frick Foundation from moving the archive collection from Clayton, the historical Frick estate in Point Breeze, to the Frick Art Reference Library in New York City.
The trial is expected to continue through July 3. The case was assigned to Common Pleas Court judge Lee Mazur.
